Gaming supervisors monitor gaming operations and employees in an assigned area. Circulating among the game tables, they see that all stations and games are covered for each shift. It also is typical for supervisors to interpret the casino’s operating laws for patrons. Supervisors could also plan and organize activities for guests staying in their casino hotels.

Gaming supervisors must have certain leadership qualities and great communication skills. They need these tactics both to supervise employees effectively and to greet patrons in order to boost return visits. The Majority of casino supervisory staff have an associate or bachelor’s degree. Despite their educational background, however, many supervisors gain expertise in other betting occupations before moving into supervisory desks because knowledge of games and casino operations is important for these workers.
